Zimbabwe Football Disciplinary Committee set today to consider evidence presented by Highlanders and the referee on the abandoned game against Dynamos.

No judgement yet!

They have finished the hearing and retired to consider a final decision/verdict in few days to come.

Earlier we reported….

Today, the Zimbabwe Premiership disciplinary committee will make a decision over the conduct of Highlanders fans during last week’s aborted league match against Dynamos.

The Bulawayo team will stand before the tribunal in Harare facing charges which include pitch invasion, missile throwing and violent conduct by their fans.

A goal scored by Dynamos via Christian Epoupa in the 40th minute sparked crowd trouble at Barbourfields Stadium on May 14.

Bosso fans threw missiles at Gweru assistant referee Nelson Kusosa protesting his decision not to flag Epoupa for offside.

Twice the fans prevented Kusosa from returning to the far side touchline and match commissioner Edson Nkau and the referee called off the match.

There are many possible likely outcomes if Highlanders  is found guilty.

This could include either a financial penalty, 3-0 match walk over in favour of Dynamos, playing a home match in empty stadium or all these put together.
